Frequently Asked Questions

You can cancel your booking at any time. Your 25% deposit is non-refundable.

What if I need to postpone my booking?

There is no fee or penalty to transfer your deposit to a new date (as long as Alexa is available). If Alexa is not available on your new date, your deposit is non-refundable, but can be used as a credit towards a future service within 1 year of original date.

What sanitization practices do you have in place?

You can rest assured that all products and brushes are sanitized after each application.

Brushes: A 99.9% disinfectant solution is used to sanitize brushes between each client followed by a deep clean at the end of each working day. After they dry, they are sprayed with 70% isopropyl alcohol to ensure sterilization.

Products: Pressed powder products ie: eyeshadow, bronzer, highlighter, etc. Every product is sprayed with 70% isopropyl alcohol after each application.

Liquid products are dispensed on a clean and sanitized palette (NEVER any double dipping).

Disposable mascara and lip wands are used to ensure no double dipping.

Hands are sanitized regularly.

Do you offer bridal trials?

Yes. Connecting with my clients is very important as it allows for full understanding of how you would like your makeup for your special day. Trials present a great opportunity to truly understand and execute a gorgeous look for the bride to be! Any changes that are requested will be noted accordingly - communication is key!

Why should I hire a professional makeup artist as opposed to doing it myself?

Investing in professional makeup services is as important as hiring a skilled wedding photographer. A professional makeup artist knows which beauty products and techniques to use on you so you look your absolute best all day in photos, videos and in person.

They know which products are best suited for your skin type/tone and are up to date on the mot correct beauty trends and techniques.

How much time is required for a makeup application?

For bride, 1 - 1.5 hours is needed for makeup.

For others, please allow 1 hour per person for makeup.

This timing allowed for application & sanitization of products between clients

What is airbrush makeup and what is so good about it?

I thought you`d never ask!

Airbrush foundation is makeup sprayed onto the skin using an airbrush machine instead of applying with brushes, sponges, etc.

Do you want a NATURAL, GLOWY, FLAWLESS, LIGHT-WEIGHT look? Opt for airbrush! It is super light weight, invisible and can be built up to full coverage. It is also water resistant and long lasting, for all skin types and does not look cakey.
